I love and appreciate nature at all its levels of organization and complexity. My main focus has been the study of life at the molecular level. I am particularly interested in how biological information encoded in the genetic material interacts with other molecules to manifest life. Life has been evolving on earth for over 3.5 billion years. I find it fascinating that much of that history is contained in the collective genomes of all life forms. |
