I love and appreciate nature at all its levels of organization and complexity. My main focus has been the study of life at the molecular level. I am particularly interested in how biological information encoded in the genetic material interacts with other molecules to manifest life. Life has been evolving on earth for over 3.5 billion years. I find it fascinating that much of that history is contained in the collective genomes of all life forms. Genomics is shedding light on the histotry life on earth. The story so far is awsome. |
