Mathematics and Statistics at Langara College

WELCOME
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Langara College in Vancouver BC provides courses for both University Transfer and Career Program students with a wide range of backgrounds. Our goal is to help all of our students to develop a command and appreciation of the power, utility, and beauty (and entertainment value) of mathematical and statistical ideas.

This site is intended to supplement the college's official information pages about the department with additional information about our department and its offerings, including our Math Diagnostic Test (MDT) placement procedure. We have also included links to some web-based learning materials and tools and to information about our Mathematics and Statistics Activity Centre (MAC).
