Library employee Janet Whyte’s short story My Space Pet appears in the Jan/Feb 2013 issue of chickaDEE magazine. The story, for 6-9 year olds, is about kids living on a Moon base who must troubleshoot robot sibling rivalry when their new space pet arrives. The magazine also conducted an author interview, which is posted on the Club chickaDEE blog featuring a photo by Sandy Ragan, who works with Janet in the Library’s technical services department.
