The Library has created a referral sticker to help instructors encourage students to visit the Learning Commons for writing and citing help and/or academic tutoring. You might have seen these stickers at our employee open house last month–they were very popular among the instructors who stopped by!
If you would like a supply or refill of these referral stickers, please contact your subject librarian (listed by department here).
SFU uses a similar sticker to promote their learning commons, and based on their instructors’ feedback, the referrals are very helpful. Coupled with the mark students receive on an assignment, they provide a straightforward option for improving their work.
